Students applied physical science and engineering technology concepts to construct the 850 square foot geodesic dome. The <a href="http://livingclassroomlab.blogspot.com/2007/11/living-classroom-slideshow_02.html">dome’s exterior structure</a> was completed the fall of 2007 by Mr. Fournier and Mrs. Driscoll with the help of student, teacher, and community volunteers over the summer and afterschool in the fall. We give many thanks for the services, donations and grants that funded the planning and construction of the dome along with our continued work on the dome this year - <strong><em>Toyota, Fairchild Semicondutor, National Semiconductor, Portland Trails, Maine Public Utilities Commission, Portland Partnership, Home Depot, R.J. Grondin &amp; Sons, Everett J.
